Here is the report from IYEO on the Tsunami Relief Fund. IYEO set an account for Tsunami Relief Fund last January and
announced domestically(mainly) for donation. Since there were many message on the tsunami disaster posted via Ren mailing,
I thought of posting this to share what IYEO is doing for the people in the region of Tsunami affected area by using exPY
network.

Dear Ex-PYs,
Hello, this is Tamae Saito (SWY10, SWY17-ADM). I would like to inform you about the fundraising activities for Tsunami
relief.
So far, we have raised approximately US$9,145.
The breakdown of the donations is:
- IYEO members donation 182,000 yen (approx. US$1,750)
- IYEO charity event 76,620 yen (approx. US$735)
- SWY17 fund raising approx. US$5,580
- Contribution from SWYAA-Mexico US$1,080
The donations collected will be shared among the member countries of SWY and SSEAYP that were affected by the earthquake
and tsunami, and if there are ex-PYs who are directly involved in working with the organizations/agencies to reconstruct the
country, we will distribute this money to those organizations/agencies.
We will continue our fundraising activities until the end of March 2005. Your kind contribution is highly appreciated.
